20427 units of Maruti Suzuki S-Cross to undergo Inspection

According to latest industry reports country’s leading car manufacturing company Maruti Suzuki India Limited is going replace the defective brake part of 20427 units sold by company. To get the issue detected company has initiated a free service campaign. According to sources this activity should not be considered as recall because the units found detective would be first inspected and if necessary then the defective part will be replaced free of cost by the manufacturer. The units affected are said to be manufactured from April 20, 2015 to February 12, 2016.
 
The organization of such service campaigns is a necessary activity performed by automobile manufacturing companies across the world to detect and rectify the issues which might result in some kind of trouble to buyers. Launched last year in 2015 the prices of Nexa S-Cross falls between Rs. 8.03 lakh and Rs. 12.03 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is sold through Nexa showrooms across the country.
 
It should be remembered that prior to this car maker had recalled 33,098 units of its best selling hatchbacks Alto 800 and Alto K10 due to defective latches on the doors of right side. The units recalled were manufactured between December 8, 2014 and February 18, 2015.
