Maruti Suzuki S-Cross Updated With New Ingredients

Recently country’s leading car maker Maruti Suzuki India Limited launched the facelift Ciaz in the Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 8.19 lakh, and now according to recent reports the Indo-Japanese car maker has upgraded its first ever crossover S-Cross with a bunch of new features. The list of new upgraded features offered in the refreshed crossover includes seat belt reminder, speed alert system and rear parking sensors. Interestingly, all these features are offered as the standard features in all the trims across the S-Cross.

Apart, from these features the Delta trim is blessed with features like cruise control, rear wiper and washer, automatic climate control system, machined alloy wheels, rear view mirrors with turn indicators mounted on them, engine start/stop button, smart keyless entry and few more. Likewise, the top two trims are updated with additional features accordingly.

Mechanically, the crossover S-Cross is empowered with 1.3 litre, 4 cylinder engine mated with Suzuki’s mild hybrid technology. This engine is capable of generating the power of 89 bhp and the torque of 200Nm. The transmission duties are performed by five speed manual gear transmission system. It is rumored that in coming month the carmaker might also offer 1.5 ltire, 4 cylinder petrol engine, that will be capable of generating the power of 105 PS and the torque of 138Nm. This petrol engine would be same as offered in the recently introduced facelift version of Ciaz.
 
Prior, to recent updates, the MSIL had launched a facelift version of S-Cross last year during the month of October 2017.
