Audi A3 40 TFSI introduced in Indian car market
To commemorate the first anniversary of its sedan A3 in Indian car market German luxurious car maker has introduced its latest version in Indian car market named as A3 40 TFSI Premium with price tag of Rs. 25.5 lakh (ex-showroom price, Mumbai). It is offered only petrol variant, with this new variant car maker has withdrawn the existing premium plus variant which was offered with price tag of Rs. 31.4 lakh. The newly introduced variant continues 1798 cc, 4 cylinder petrol engine boosting the power of 177 bhp and torque of 250Nm. It is mated with 7 Speed S Tronic Transmission system.

It would be interested to learn that where other companies offer new features in their new products German car maker has stripped out some of the existing features in this new variant, which mainly seems to be the reason for cutting its cost up-to Rs. 5 lakh. The new trim of A3 embellishes 16 inch alloy wheels replacing erstwhile 17 inch alloys, halogen headlamps rather than Xenon headlamps, the new trim also misses fog lamps at front fascia. Other additional features offered in this trim are electronic adjusting driver seat, automatic two zone air conditioner with sun sensor and rear air conditioner vents, auto release button, cruise control and driver information system.
Addressing the launch of new A3 40 TFSI Mr. Joe King, Audi India Head said that their main target are customers of petrol cars who prefer to buy fuel efficient and powerful cars. In this regard Audi A3 40 TFSI can be considered as the perfect match of both these elements merged in a unit. With fuel efficient performance of 16.6kmpl and power generation efficiency of 180 bhp A3 40 TFSI is the best option for them to drive a car that have been waiting for.
