Audi A3 to launch soon
A trend on how to get your brand, appeal to the masses is very well studied by the global automakers in India. All you need to do is develop a made-for-India product which suits Indian conditions and Indian pockets. Many of them have already done the same got succeeded; best example is BMW X1, some are about to do. This time it is another German premium luxury brand, Audi, which will gamble in the prospering sector of the country. Audi may line-up its base level A3 sedan in the country with a reasonable price of INR 20 Lakhs.

The premium sedan will compete with its own German rival Mercedes Benz B-class in terms of price. In this price bracket Mercedes Benz offers hatchback, which will indirectly benefit Audi as A3 is a sedan.
The new sedan will be featured in the 2012 Geneva Motor Show along with Audi’s future focused A3 hatchback car.

Mercedes Benz’s hatchback B-class will debut in India and will be locking horns with another German major BMW X1. Both as a unit will contend with Audi, as it is expected to be geared up with its compact Audi Q3 then.

At the same time BMW is planning to launch its Mini marquee in India which will initially consist if hatchback cars and the auto market in the nation lack a premium quality hatch; Mini seems perfect choice for this responsibility.
With the price bracket of INR 20 Lakhs, Audi A3 sedan appears to be a healthy alternate to the top sedan variant of Skoda, the Superb and Honda’s Accord.
