BMW M6 Gran Coupe rolled out, sales from May next year

BMW has officially disclosed the whole details of its style car, BWM M6 Gran Coupe. The car is expected to go on sales in May 2013. This sedan is very sporty and would come with a very heavy price tag of €128,000, which means around Rs. 90.89 lakh. In North America, the car will go on sale in summer 2013, which a price of $110,000. If we look at the coupe, the car has a major resembles BMW’s current Convertible and Coupe counterparts. However, the M6 Gran Coupe is much heavier than the other ones in the portfolio and will come with two extra doors. Even the wheelbase is 113mm more. Recently in India, the company has launched new BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe and BMW X6.

Coming to the engine specifications, the BMW M6 Gran Coupe will come blessed with 4.4 litre twin turbocharged V8 engine, which would give out 553BHP of peak power @ 6000-7000rpm along with 680Nm of maximum torque @ 1500 to 5750rpm. The acceleration and pickup of the car would be the major highlight. This coupe will touch the 100kmph speed mark in just 4.2 seconds accompanied by a top speed of 250kmph. It will be as amazing as it is sounding here. The optional M Driver’s package if installed here, the car will be touching the 305kmph top speed in a matter of few seconds. With a mileage of 9.9 litres per 100 km, makes it fairly fuel economic. The 232g/km of carbon dioxide emissions is also average.

Apart from being the power-packed performer, the new BMW M6 Gran Coupe will also be blessed with an array of safety features, which would also comprise of Low Speed Assistance, launch control function and Auto Star/Stop function. The 20 inches of light alloy wheels would be successful in making the drive absolutely smooth and superb. The M Carbon Ceramic brakes will be powerful and utterly responsive.
