BMW unveils X6, soon to launch in Indian car market
After successfully launching the facelift version BMW X5 in Indian car market recently, the Geraman luxurious car maker BMW has unveiled its luxurious Sports Activity Vehicle the new BMW X6 in global market. The SAV is expected to be soon launched in Indian car market once it is launched in global car market. The major changes that would be introduced in the new BMW X6 SAV will include newly developed sportier bumper which will give the SAV completely a new look followed by enlarged headlights and kidney grille.
The new BMW X6 will be offered with options of three engine configurations. The first in this series would be 4.4 litre V8 Twin Power Turbo engine generating the torque of 650 Nm and power of 450 PS. The SAV will accelerate the speed from standstill to 100 kmh within the span of 4.8 seconds and capable of reaching the top speed of 250 km/h. The next one would be diesel variant which would be empowered with six cylinder 3.0 litre Twin Power Turbo engine generating the maximum power of 258 PS and torque of 560Nm. Within the span of 6.7 seconds this variant will reach the speed of 100 km/h from zero and the maximum speed of 230 km/h. The third and final variant will be equipped with 3.0 litre Tri Turbo, six cylinder diesel engine producing the power of 381 PS and torque of 740 Nm. It will reach the speed from zero to 100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds and reach the top speed of 250 km/h.
As far as price and other details of this SAV are concerned they will be disclosed at the time of its launching in Indian car market. Apart from X6 there are few more vehicles to be offered by German car maker in Indian car market in coming months.
