Paris Motor Show: Facelift BMW X6 showcased
German car maker BMW has showcased the refreshed version of luxurious sedan X6 during the ongoing Paris Motor Show 2014. The new BMW X6 is not the generation next X6 on the contrary it is an upgraded version of the sedan which has undergone various contemporary cosmetic changes. The facelift BMW X6 receives new bonnet, new doors, new bumpers at both front and rear portions and also rear openable hatch. The kidney grille at front fascia is similar to recent versions of X5 and X3 giving the SUV more dynamic look.
Talking about the changes made under bonnet the car maker continues the same Twin Power 3.0 litre diesel engine boosting the power of 258 bhp and torque of 559 Nm. The engine is mated with eight speed ZF transmission system, the India bound version however might receive four wheel drive option. Although going through poor demand the car had been discontinued in Indian car market but it is now speculated that car maker might bring the new version in Indian car market sometimes during the mid of next year.
Moving towards other cosmetic changes introduced in new BMW X6 it also bestows new headlights, new rear diffuser, and enlarged tail lights. Apart from this the new X6 is 32mm long, 6mm wide and 33mm tall as compared to the existing model.
