BMW X3 launched with starting price of Rs. 44.9 lakh (ex-showroom price)

German luxurious car maker BMW today launched the updated version of X3 in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 44.9 lakh (ex-showroom price). The X3 has been launched in two versions namely xDrive 20d Expedition and xDrive 20d xLine. It is reported that the refurnished version of X3 is miles ahead from its outgoing model which was launched three years back in 2011. To begin with greasy feature it continues the same existing TwinPower 2 litre diesel engine but with enhanced power and torque generation features. The new engine of new X3 now generates the power of 187 bhp and torque of 400Nm, while the second xDrive version boosts the power of 147 bhp and torque of 360Nm.

Moving towards the major changes offered in exteriors of BMW X3 2014 includes newly developed twin circular headlights, newly developed front and rear bumpers, aggressive kidney grille, exterior mirrors along with turn indicators. The interiors have been developed with new coverable cup holders, chrome accents, followed by new panels. The HVAC display system has been given entirely a new looking. With this the company has also integrated option of integrating navigation system in the newly introduced avatar of X3. The new X3 will place strong competition to Land Rover Freelander 2 and Audi X5.
