BMW X3 xDrive18d with 16 kmpl mileage
German auto giant BMW has revealed the BMW X3 xDrive 18d that could make its entry in India soon. As per the sources information as well as media reports, the car returns a mileage of around 16 kmpl that makes it extremely lovable SUV when it is already one of the favorite SUV in India. In addition to it the new xDrive 18d is expected to counter the growing popularity of the Audi Q3 SUV that has become the talk of the town recently. Though the car maker has not revealed any India launch plans of the new model of the best selling BMW car in India but experts believe that India launch is certain and it could be just the time that matters.

As per the sources information, the new variant is the most fuel efficient variant and it is in fact houses the smallest engine of the X3 models. A new 2 L engine powers the X3 xDrive 18d and this engine is capable of producing 145 PS at as low as 4000 rpm while it churns a peak torque of 360 Nm at a minimal range of 1750 to 2500 rpm. This is considered to be best for those SUV that promise power at even low rpms this means the SUV needs little effort to tackle even the dirtiest of the terrains. In addition to this, the 4 cylinder twin turbo engine also has in class exceptional mileage delivery which is close to 16 kmpl.

Despite a smaller engine, the X3 new variant catches 100 kmph mark in 10.3 seconds and this is considered to be another exceptional feature of the new BMW car. The top speed of the car is 195 kmph and it emits almost no harmful gases. As per sources information, the X3 xDrive 18d could be added to the present diesel X3 line up that has xDrive20d and the xDrive30d.
