Brochure of Hyundai Elite i20 AT Revealed Online
An image revealing the specifications of upcoming Hyundai Elite i20 automatic have surfaced on various online portals ahead of its launch during the festive season. According to details leaked in a image which is considered as the brochure of proposed automatic Hyundai Elite i20, the unit will be offered in Magna trim of petrol variant which will be empowered with 1.4 litre dual VTVT four cylinder petrol engine boosting the power of 99 bhp and torque of 132 Nm and mated with four speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The regular version of petrol variant is empowered with 1.2 litre Dual VTVT engine that churns the power of 83PS and torque of 11.7 kgm.
The major attractions that are proposed to be offered in Hyundai Elite i20 automatic will include dual front air bags as standard feature, touchscreen infotainment system, automatic air conditioner, alloy wheels, key less entry, projector headlamps, reverse parking camera etc, it will however does not embellish ABS and EBD. Interestingly with new engine and powerful displacement capacity the i20 AT will not fall under the flagship of small car with its excise duty going high to 24 percent from 12.5 percent.
Prior to this it was almost a year back when HMIL had upgraded the hatchback silently with the then contemporary features like touchscreen infotainment system, navigation system, making it compatible to existing hatchbacks in Indian car market. After launch in Indian car market the automatic Hyundai Elite i20 will compete against Volkswagen Polo GT TSI, Honda Jazz CVT and Maruti Suzuki Baleno CVT.
