HMIL, the Indian arm of Korean car maker Hyundai Motors has silently cut off few of important and interesting features of from i20 hatchback without minimizing its price. It is reported that this alteration has undergone on all the trims that are offered Elite i20. According to reports the Era trim will now not include passenger side vanity mirror and ticket holder followed by absence of ticket holder in Magna trim. The Sportz trim now misses leather covering from steering wheel and gear knob. It also misses automatic window and bootlid up.

The Sportz (O) will now miss leather covering from steering wheel, and gear knob along with absence of ticket holder. However, it would be interested to learn that where at one side car maker has removed some features from every variant it has enhanced the top end variant by offering 12 V power outlet rather than cutting off any feature from it. The news regarding these changes might surprise to Elite i20 enthusiasts who have recently purchased the same and who are willing to buy the same. The more surprising would be the buyers who have purchased the hatchback after April this year, because these changes have been introduced in the units that are sold after this date and that also without any official announcement by car maker.
This behavior from renowned car maker which is also country’s second car manufacturing company is surprising for every car enthusiast in Indian car market. Although earning profit is main objective of every business operator but to retain its position in market it imperative and expected from them to let their followers know about their every activity before performing it.
