Jeep India has hiked the prices of its compact SUV Compass in the Indian car market up to Rs 90,000. With this hike, the base variant of the Compass is now priced at Rs 19.29 lakh, while the top-end variant Trailhawk is now offered with a price tag of Rs 32.22 lakh. Both the prices are ex-showroom prices. With this hike, the US-based carmaker has also discontinued the Longitude (O) trim from the existing line-up of the Compass family. The Longitude trim was available in petrol and diesel variants of a 1.4-litre DCT and a 2.0-litre engine respectively.

Speaking about the transmission system the petrol variant is available with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox transmission system. The diesel variant comes equipped with a six-speed manual and a nine-speed automatic gearbox transmission system.
The first generation of Jeep Compass was launched five years back in 2017 and underwent the first facelift in 2021. On the occasion of its 5th Anniversary, the Indian alliance of the US carmaker launched its Anniversary Edition in August. According to reports, the company will launch the next generation of Jeep Grand Cherokee in the Indian car market by the end of this year.
