Chevrolet Captiva undergoing cosmetic surgery
Last year the US based car making company General Motors had showcased the all new Chevrolet Captiva during Geneva Motor Show 2013. It is reported that the car maker is working on introducing one more facelift to this good performing SUV to give it completely a contemporary visual. According to reports the car maker is not going to make any major changes in this SUV which could be regarded as the all new Captiva but these changes would be minute changes so as to make it competitive with existing SUV’s in market.
Discussing the changes speculated in proposed facelift it is believed that the company will continue the same existing 2.0 litre and 2.2 litre diesel engine producing the power of 148 bhp and torque of 320 Nm and 184 bhp and torque of 425Nm respectively. As far as cosmetic changes are concerned it is anticipated that alike the previous facelift the upcoming facelift will follow the same guidelines which means without making any physical changes. The new Captiva will be embellished with new grille, new front bumper and new headlights. Moving ahead the facelift might also carry new LED daytime running lights. As far as launching date of facelift Captiva is concerned nothing has been so far revealed by company sources but it is expected to launch in Indian car market immediately after its global launch.
