Refreshed Chevrolet Captiva launched in Indian car market
General Motors India Limited, the Indian arm of U.S. based car maker has launched the refreshed version of its SUV Captiva named as M.Y. Captiva in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 25.13 lakh (ex-showroom price for M.T) and Rs. 27, 36 lakh (ex-showroom price for A.T) system. The M.Y. 2015 Captiva is perfect match of boldness, stylish, comfort, and luxurious features to offer relaxed travelling experience to the passengers. The refreshed Captiva although continues the existing engine configuration 2.2 litre diesel engine boosting the power of 186.5 bhp and 3800 rpm and torque of 400 Nm @2000 rpm. It would not be wrong to say that new Captiva has everything to thrill the SUV enthusiasts.
Addressing the launch of new M.Y. Captiva, Mr. Arvind Saxena, President and Managing Director, General Motors India Limited said, that the new Captiva has been launched to dominate the SUV segment in Indian car market. The new avatar of Captiva has already made its successful entrance in global market and has received an encouraging response from International buyers because of remarkable features adorned in it. Moving ahead Mr. Saxena said that new Captiva is perfect match of economic and power merged in a unit. Mr. Saxena also added that apart from other features the most impressive thing about Captiva which makes it different from other SUV’s is its price which is not offered by other SUV’s in the same segment.
Moving towards the features offered inside the cabin you will find some exquisite features namely third row heating, rain sensing wipers, cruise control, ventilation and air conditioner system, sunroof, cluster ionizer with new instrument cluster, storage sockets for instance large wet/dry area, illuminated glove box, rear centre console, centre console bin and many more. On the exteriors it includes new dynamic clear lens projection headlamps, new Chevrolet bowtie, Chevrolet signature front grille, cluster ionizer to enhance visibility etc.
