Chevrolet Sail Sedan spied, launching soon
Chevrolet is desperately in the process of bringing in a new sedan in India. Establishing its attempts in doing so are evident as it new car Chevrolet Sail sedan has been recently spotted while testing. Seriously, Chevrolet is in need one a replacement for the Chevrolet Aveo sedan in India. The 1399 cc sedan is expected to carry a price tag of Rs 6 lakh. The Sail sedan launch is expected sometime later this year.

After its showcase at the New Delhi Auto Expo, the Chevrolet Sail sedan version has been spied in the outskirts of Pune and Talegaon and it is in this region that General Motors has his plant. The Chinese product Sail sedan will soon be available in its hatchback avatar and will be priced attractively and comparatively with the Chevrolet Beat and Beat Diesel. As per the reports, Sail sedan will be using the 13.L multijet Fiat sourced diesel engine in it and will also be available in petrol version.

The C-segment sedan is expected to present a convenient and performing sedan offering in India and is also expected to carry an attractive price tag. Especially the Chevrolet Sail diesel variants sporting a Fiat source multijet engine will be highly frugal and performing as well. With the availability in diesel, Sail will have more prospects than the currently available Chevrolet Aveo that seems to have a decent response from car buyers in India. However, like Aveo, the Sail is not expected to have a CNG version.
Once in, in this year around Diwali, the Sail will be dealing with the biggies including Maruti Swift Dzire, Tata Manza, and Toyota Etios besides others. The availability of the Sail hatchback which is expected to sport a 1199cc engine will further boost the sales of the American car maker in India.
