Chevrolet Sail Sedan to be launched on 1st Feb, countdown begins
The D-Day is not far for General Motors India! It’s much awaited Chevrolet Sail Sedan is ready for the launch. The company has made it official on its website that this Sail sedan will arrive in the Indian market on 1st of Feb 2013. The car will be launched in Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai concurrently. General Motors India has kept in mind the needs of an aspiring Indian car consumers, therefore, Sail Sedan will be launched in both diesel and petrol variants. And taking into account the price factor, the Sail sedan price tag will range between Rs. 6.5 to 8 lakh.
A number of times in last couple of months, the Chevrolet Sail Sedan was caught on camera during its test runs. So at that moment of time it was pretty obvious that the car will be launched in India. Coming to the details, the petrol variant of the car will come powered by 1.2 litre petrol engine that would produce 86PS of peak power. On the other hand, the diesel variant of the car will be featuring 1.3 litre XSDE motor that will churn out 78PS of peak power. Both the engines promise to deliver impressive fuel economy.
