Chevrolet to add Enjoy SUV as Ford Ecosport rival
‘O Ford Ecosport, when thou art coming! Thou shalt have many rivals popping, come soon.’ This should be the prayer by an auto enthusiast who knows the Ford Ecosport SUV in an elaborate way. Recently, there were reports that Ecosport rival is getting ready in Volkswagen plant, later reports also came in that GM is bringing Opel Mokka as its rival and now there are reports that Chevrolet is making its rival named Chevrolet Enjoy SUV. This is the SUV named closely as the Chevrolet Enjoy MPV that is scheduled to be launched in India later this year.

Sensing all this, one thing is sure that the compact SUV segment that has been dormant for years altogether is on the brink of an explosion. Ford Ecosport, Renault Duster, Maruti XA Alpha, Opel Mokka and now Chevrolet Enjoy compact SUV, all will be making the segment the hottest after small car segment in India. However, unconfirmed reports suggest that Enjoy SUV will be a rebadged Mokka. The real stuff however will be Ford Ecosport and all other except the Duster will be toppings. It is also reportedly known that the recent leaks of the images and some specifications of the new Chevrolet compact SUV in Brazil had also given a comparison sheet. This comparison of the Chevrolet SUV was with Ford Ecosport and Renault Duster.

The Chevrolet Enjoy SUV will be above four meters in length that is slightly less than the upcoming SUV by the French car maker Renault. This size is just above the Ecosport and will have a larger boot capacity and more leg space for the second row occupants. The Enjoy SUV will have 18 inch alloys with ABS and EBD as standard. More or less this Mokka based Chevrolet SUV will be taking some design hints from Chevrolet Cruze and Chevrolet Captiva SUV as well.
