Refreshed Chevrolet Enjoy launched in Indian car market
General Motors India Limited, the Indian arm of U.S. based car maker General Motors has launched the refreshed version of its highly MPV Enjoy in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 6.24 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). The major upgrades offered in new Enjoy have been introduced inside the cabin and no changes have been offered on the exteriors.Under the hood the MPV continues same engine configuration of 1.4 litre petrol engine boosting the power of 100 bhp and torque of 131 Nm along with 1.3 litre Multi-jet diesel engine boosting the power of 75 bhp and torque of 172.5 Nm. Both the engines are mated with five speed manual gear transmission system.
Inside the cabin this refreshed MPV bestows three spoke steering wheel with steering mounted audio controls, new chrome garnish on A/C vents, gear knob, new door handles, parking brake and new black garnish on door arm rests. Addressing the launch of refreshed MPV Enjoy, Mr. Arvind Saxena, President and Managing Director, General Motors India said, Chevrolet Enjoy is one of the best MPV in segment that delivers true value of money to its owners. The new changes offered in MPV including three spoke steering wheel with mounted audio controls make this refreshed MPV more dynamic and satisfying twin needs of buyer in one unit.
The upgraded version of Enjoy has been offered in six passionate colors including summit white, velvet red, linen beige, switchblade silver, caviar black and sandrift grey. The new Enjoy will now compete with Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Honda Mobilio, Nissan Evalia, and Renault Lodgy. It would be interested to learn that among various MPV’s existing in Indian car market it is only the MPV which is offered with seating option of seven and eight seater.
