It’s official: Chevrolet Enjoy MPV launch this year
The American auto giant General Motors (GM) has now officially announced the name of their GM-SAIC (Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation) venture product as ‘Chevrolet Enjoy’. The Multi Utility Vehicle (MUV) is the same that was displayed at the 2012 Auto Expo, which will be launched by the end of this year. Furthermore, the awaited hatchback Chevrolet Sail will be introduced in the country by July this year. The premium hatchback will compete with the likes of Ford Figo and Maruti Swift. On the other hand, Toyota Innova and Mahindra Xylo will prepare themselves to face the heat this winter with the foray of Chevrolet Enjoy.
GM India President & Managing Director Lowell C. Paddock delivered this news piece in Chennai at the launch ceremony of New Chevrolet Tavera Neo3 BSIV version.

The Chevrolet Sail is expected to be priced under INR 5 Lakh in order to make its own way in the crowded hatchback segment in India. Furthermore, the Enjoy MUV will have its entry level model starting at INR 7 Lakh. Nevertheless, the price tag of Enjoy will be quite an interesting factor to watch, as GM already possesses Tavera MUV in this segment. While there are immense chances of company marketing it as a premium MPV that will sit above Tavera, as far as pricing is concerned.
The New MUV Enjoy will be manufactured at company’s Halol facility, whereas its heart will be developed at the particular component producing unit in Talegaon.
