The engine generates the same power as developed by CNG version of its elder sibling Wagon R CNG, churning the power of 58 bhp and torque of 77 Nm. The Celerio as reported earlier was launched during the Indian Auto Expo 2014 and emerged as the new trendsetter in the hatchback segment of Indian car market with its automatic gear transmission system available at an affordable price.

One thin which will definitely disappoint to the buyers of CNG Celerio version is absence of automatic gear transmission system, as the company has offered CNG Celerio mated only with manual gearbox and that also in top end variant. The CNG Celerio is expected to be the tough contender not only for its elder sibling Wagon R CNG but also to Hyundai Santro CNG and Hindustan Ambassador.
