Datsun redi-Go launched, price starts from Rs. 2.38 lakh
Datsun the subsidiary of Nissan Motors has finally launched its highly awaited hatchback redi-Go in Indian car market strictly on its promised date June 7, 2016 with starting price of Rs. 2.38 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi) for its entry level variant. Under the hood it sports 799cc three cylinder petrol engine that boosts the power of 53 bhp and torque of 72Nm and has been endorsed to deliver fuel efficiency of 25.17 kmpl. The engine is mated with five speed manual gear transmission system.
There will be overall five variants available for buyers to choose from D, A, T, T(O) and S with five passionate and fascinating color options of lime green, red, silver, grey and white. The sources of company endorse that it will be one of the best affordable cars in Indian car market with low maintenance cost.
The major features adorned in Datsun redi-Go are rear door child safety lock, remote fuel lid and tailgate opener, high quality seat upholstery, front speakers, body colored both front and rear bumpers, power steering, USB/AUX/radio/FM/AM players, depending upon the variant purchased by buyers. The top end trim also embellishes DRLs and driver side airbag as standard feature.Developed on CMF-A platform the redi-Go has length of 3,429mm, width of 1,560mm, height of 1,541mm, ground clearance of 185mm and boot space of 222 litre.
