Datsun redi-Go price revealed; starts from Rs. 2.39 lakh
Datsun the subsidiary of Japanese car maker Nissan has officially revealed the prices of its upcoming car Datsun redi-Go slated for launch on June 7, 2016. According to reports the prices of upcoming third product from car maker will start from Rs. 2,39,500 for entry level variant. The earlier reports revealed by company had said that the prices of base variant for redi-Go will commence from Rs. 2.5 lakh and go high up-to Rs. 3.5 lakh. But the recent information from company at its official website will definitely compel the other car makers to think over the pricing policy of their cars.

The upcoming hatchback has been developed CMF-A platform under the joint venture of Renault and Nissan and at has been used by French car Renault in its hatchback Kwid. Therefore when you talk about the features offered in redi-Go you should remember that it will carry most of its cues similar to Kwid. The car carries same 799cc three cylinder petrol engine as offered in Kwid, boosting the power of 53 bhp and torque of 72Nm. The engine will be mated with five speed manual gear box and is reported to deliver fuel efficiency figure of 25.17 kmpl.
Once launched in Indian car market it will compete against the best selling hatchback Maruti Suzuki Alto 800, Renault Kwid and Hyundai Eon. It will be produced at production owned jointly by Renault and Nissan in Oragadam, Chennai.
