European car market to get Suzuki Celerio next month
After successful launch of Celerio hatchback in Indian car market, Japanese car maker Suzuki is going to launch the car in European car market sometimes during next month. The version of Celerio that would be sold in Europe would also be offered in 3 cylinder Dualjet engine and would be exported from Thailand. This means that in European car market Celerio would be offered with two engine options. As far as looks of hatchback are concerned it would carry the same design philosophy as available in India.
Moving back to introduction of three cylinder Dual Jet engine, it would be interested to learn that it would be offered with enhanced compression ration and twin fuel injectors. With an objective to receive fuel efficient performance from this engine the hatchback would be offered with stop-start system that will facilitate it to deliver an average of 27.7 kmpl. The K Series petrol version would deliver an average of 23.25 kmpl. The European version of Celerio is expected to be launched on October 24, 2014 and there it will compete against Toyota Avgo, Kia Picanto, Volkswagen UP!, and Hyundai i10.
