Facelift Honda Brio Slated for Launch on October 4, 2016
Last few years have been fortunate for Japanese car maker Honda Motors and to continue the ride of success Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL), the Indian alliance of Honda is going to launch the mid-cycle facelift version of its hatchback Brio in Indian car market. From the reliable sources it is reported that the facelift Honda Brio might debut in Indian car market on October 4, 2016. It is reported that facelift Brio will undergo subtle cosmetic updates on exteriors followed by integration of some additional features.

Prior to this Japanese car maker had showcased facelift version of Honda Brio during Indonesia Auto Show along with its RS version. To begin with mechanical updates the Brio facelift will continue with current petrol engine configuration of 1.2 litre engine that churns the power of 87 bhp and torque of 109 Nm. The engine transmission duty is looked by five speed manual gearbox system and also with CVT automatic transmission system.

Talking about the changes on exteriors that facelift Honda Brio will sport include refreshed front fascia in form of bumper similar to Amaze, the honeycomb grille with thick chrome garnished black plate integrating logo of Honda at the centre. The front grille receives newly developed tear drop shaped headlamps with turn indicators. The side and rear profile however remain unchanged.
Inside the cabin it is reported to carry most of its cues carried from Honda Amaze. The major features adorned inside the cabin are newly developed dashboard, new steering wheel, 2 Din audio system, a circle developed close to steering wheel, indicating that the Brio might be offered with engine start-stop push button. Apart from all these updates, the interiors are expected to be developed with color treatment which is not offered in existing version of Brio.
