Facelift of Hyundai Eon on the Cards of HMIL
Going through the cut throat competition in the segment from Renault Kwid and Datsun redi-Go, Korean car maker Hyundai Motors India Limited has started working on bringing the facelift version of hatchback Eon, which immensely needs an upgrade to stay in content from its contenders. It is reported that the Indian arm of car maker has started working on the facelift of Eon and is speculated to launch the same sometimes during the mid of next year. it is also reported that the facelift will undergo subtle changes on the exterior followed by some noticeable contemporary changes inside the cabin.

Under bonnet, the facelift Hyundai Eon is speculated to continue with the same existing engine options of 0.8 litre and 1.0 litre three cylinder engines. Moving inside the cabin it is reported to sport the highly awaited upgraded infotainment system along with touchscreen, which at present is offered in one of the fastest best selling hatchback in Indian car market, the Kwid from Renault. Apart from this it is speculated to undergo minute cosmetic updates.

On the exterior it is reported to receive subtle contemporary changes in terms of its design and will be restricted to few numbers. The facelift Hyundai Eon is expected to debut in Indian car market along with increased price tag to make it competitive with existing hatchbacks.
Launched almost five years back in 2011, the hatchback from Korean car maker did not succeed in enjoying the expected success despite of being embellished with the then contemporary features. With this facelift version it is speculated that it will succeed in washing out the marks of its failure to huge extent.
