Hyundai Eon launched at Rs 2.69 Lakhs
India’s second largest passenger car maker; Hyundai Motors has been yet again proved itself as a value-for-money brand by unveiling its small car Hyundai Eon at a pocket-friendly price. The price of all new Eon falls in the range of INR 2.69 Lakhs to INR 3.71 Lakhs (Ex Showroom Delhi). This car is the most reasonably priced one from the trusted banner of Hyundai. The Eternal Eon is offered in five dazzling colors and six class-leading variants.
The compact car launched in the A-segment of auto market will battle with Chevrolet Spark and best seller of the nation till date; Maruti Suzuki Alto. In India nowadays, every car maker is dreaming to have one budget oriented small cars in their line-up. And this healthy competition is indirectly strengthening the A-segment division of the market, also with an intention to win this contest the auto manufacturers are working on to produce affordable vehicles.

The engine of Hyundai Eon is loaded with a 3-cylinder 814 cc SOHC petrol engine, which is capable to churn out 56 PS of power at 5500 rpm and topmost torque of 76.5 Nm at 4000 rpm. The compact car is expected to offer a fuel efficient mileage of more than 21.1 kmpl as validated by ARAI. The initial entry-level variant D-Lite costs INR 2.69 Lakhs; while the top variant named Sportz is tagged with a price of INR 3.71 Lakhs. Overall Eon comprises of six exuberant variants.

The car in its exterior lines follows the ‘Fluidic Philosophy’ of design. The length of the vehicle is 3495 mm, which seems to be shorter but it is wider and taller as expected, than its arch rival Maruti Alto. In the interior it features dual-brown and two-tone beige interiors, adjustable driver-side rear-view mirror and heater in the standard variant. The apex variant Sportz; carries a long list of features alike metal finished steering wheel, air conditioner, USB outfitted stereo, fog lamps in the front, power windows in the front, central locking is kept standard.

The price list of all six variants starts with base D-Lite at INR 2,69,999 Lakhs, D-Lite (O) priced with INR 2,91,869 followed by Era, the mid variant priced at INR 3,11,869 Lakhs, now comes Magna costing INR 3,36,869 Lakhs, Magna (O) at 3,46,869 Lakhs and finally the top-most variant Sportz priced at 3,71,869 Lakhs.
With its pricing and attention grabbing looks this small car will really pull big volumes in sales of Hyundai. And will be first choice of budget oriented market of the auto sector in India.

I really like the Hyundai Eon Sportz, it is loaded with most of the features....

Hyundai Eon is a good smaal familty car. with low budget.

The price range is bit high, not comparable to ALTO. If the price would have been 20000-30000 less then this EON would be a hot piece of cake
