Few details about Maruti Celerio
Maruti Celerio the upcoming hatchback from country’s leading car manufacturing company Maruti Suzuki India Limited has already got hype just before its launch and car enthusiasts are keen to know about every minute information available about it. The new hatchback from MSIL has been positioned as replacement of its existing hatchbacks A-Star and Estilo from Indian car market.
According to reports the new Celerio will be equipped with 1.0 litre, 3 cylinder K Series petrol engine which has ability of churning the power of 67 bhp and torque of 90 Nm. The worth mentioning feature of this new hatchback is integration of newly developed EZ Drive concept which mats engine with five speed automatic manual transmission system along with option of four speed automatic transmission system. It is said that the new hatchback will deliver an impressive average of 23.1 kmpl. The new hatchback will be offered in three options namely LXi, VXi and ZXi.
Moving towards the interiors company has made Celerio more spacious that A Star, offering comfort seating feeling. The dashboard has been upgraded with new design, whereas the center console has been given U shape which carries controls of air conditioner, As far as other comfort features offered in this hatchback are concerned it will be tough contender to Honda Brio. Other impressive features offered in interiors include bottle holder on both door at rear, two cup holders in front, and also a bottle holder near handbrake. The boot space has been also enhanced to 235 litres.
