In the diesel engine option, it will be in all probability the 1.3 L multijet engine that also powers the Maruti Ertiga. This MPV along with the 500 L hatchback are expected to trigger a comeback for the Italian car brand and save it from gradual extinction. However, sensing the dwindling sales, Fiat has already stepped up its efforts and has been establishing exclusive showrooms for Fiat cars in India besides an effort to increase the product line up.
