New Fiat 500L unveiled, India launch too far
The Los Angeles Auto Show is grabbing the headlines since the day it began. Recently, at the show, Fiat Motors pulled covers from its 2014 Fiat 500L. This new car seemed to a perfect and a very strong competitor to BMW’s Mini Cooper Countryman, Ford Focus Hatchback and Volkswagen Tiguan. So far, Fiat plans to officially launch 500L in the global markets by mid 2013. This new car from Fiat will come powered by a small but dynamic 1.4 litre of four cylinder engine that will be churning out 160HP of peak power.

The option of six speed manual gearbox and six speed dual clutch automatic transmission does the trick. Both of them makes the car a power packed performer. The interiors of the car will be adorned with high class quality spacing and terrific boot space would be making your long road trips more enjoyable. The interiors will be further enhanced by delicately done front cabin along with narrow corner windows that will be fitted into a thick and wide A and D pillars. The 5 or 6.5 inches of screens accompanied by navigation system with Bluetooth connectivity will further allow you to do audio streaming.

The 2014 Fiat 500L might also come with backup camera and Beats audio thereby making it top-notch and full-on entertaining. Even the leather upholstery for the seats would be elective along with dual pane moonroof. On the whole, the car seems about right and if launched in India, it would not be alone in the market, but will have a hefty competition to face.
Till now rumors in the market suggest that the Fiat is not in mood to launch 2014 Fiat 500L, but instead have plans to bring in 500XL in the Indian car bazaar. This one will be competition with Renault Duster Seven Seater and Maruti Suzuki Eritga.
