Paris Motor Show 2014: Fiat unveils 500 X
Italian car maker Fiat Motors has finally showcased the 500X crossover during the Paris Motor Show 2014, prior to this the crossover had been witnessed going under test drives on various occasions and spies have succeeded in witnessing the features adhered in crossover. The car has been designed on the architecture philosophy of Jeep Renegade. The 500 X in simple words can be described as the crossover edition of 500 and would be offered in two trims leisure and Metropolitan.

To begin with greasy feature that crossover has been offered with three engine options of 1.4 litre, 1.6 litre and 2.0 litre turbo petrol engines. In future this fleet of engine would be further enhanced with 1.4 litre multiair II and 2.4 litre Tigershark engines. Except the Tigershark which would be offered in AWD version other engines would be offered with six speed manual gearbox and nine speed automatic transmission system. Moving ahead the diesel variants would be empowered with 1.3 litre MJD and 2.0 litre MJD engine options mated with five speed and six speed manual transmission system respectively followed by AWD option.
As far as looks of new 500X are concerned its almost looks similar to 500L except the changes which are offered to give it a crossover look. On the exteriors apart from other changes it also gets different wheel base followed by different color scheme, apart from this inside the cabin it adorns the same features as offered in family 500 series except for subtle changes. After launch the crossover would compete against Suzuki S Cross SX$, Honda HR-V and Nissan Juke.
