First Speculated Image Of Kia Seltos EV Appear Online
Kia Seltos is one of the best-selling SUVs in the country at present. According to sales statistics revealed by the auto industry, the Korean carmaker managed to sell 10,488 units of the SUV in October 2021. On the other side, its strong rival Hyundai Motors sold out 6,455 units of Creta during the same period. Encouraged by the success of the Seltos SUV, the Korean carmaker Kia has announced to launch the electric version of the SUV soon in the coming months.

Recently the first speculated image of Kia Seltos EV appeared online. The image reveals that EV Seltos will receive blue headlights mounted on the front grille, wheel hub, window lines, roof and side profile. The signature logo mounted on the front grille also receives the Blue touch. The headlamps and fog lamps have a blue strip crossing them. The SUV will run on airless tyres (non-pneumatic).
As far as engine details are concerned, nothing has been so far revealed, by the company. According to reports, there will be two battery options including, a standard and a long-range battery option. It will receive the power from a 64 kWh battery pack equipped with a 204 bhp electric motor. This powertrain is the same as available in Kia Soul EV sold in the international market. This engine offers an average of 400km on a single charge. The standard option will receive a 39.2 kWh lithium-ion battery mated with a 136 bhp electric motor. It will drive up to 312 km range on a single charge.
The company’s production unit located in Jiangsu, China, will act as a production hub for the electric Kia Seltos. As far as the launch of Seltos EV in the Indian car market is concerned, there is no official announcement regarding this. The news details will soon emerge in the online world.
