Kia India Updates Seltos 2023 With ADAS And New Features

Kia India has unveiled the updated Seltos 2023 SUV with ADAS, a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine and a few new features. The bookings for the new Seltos 2023 will commence on July 14, 2023, and prices will be declared by the end of this month. To begin with engine configurations, the 2023 Seltos come with three engine options including a 1.5-; litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that will churn the power and torque of 115 bhp and 144 Nm respectively. A new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine boosting the power of 160 bhp and a torque of 253Nm, this engine replaced the earlier 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine churning the power of 115 bhp and a torque of 253Nm.

Speaking about other features, the major update introduced in the new Seltos is the introduction of the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). This feature will offer 17 additional safety features like an intelligent speed limit assist system, forward collision avoidance assist system, blind spot collision warning, adaptive cruise control system and a few more.
 
The facelift Seltos is the first SUV in the segment to come with a dual-zone climate control system. Other features introduced in the SUV are a panoramic sunroof, and a dual-screen touchscreen system - one for the instrument cluster and the second one for the infotainment system. The central console is updated with sleek air conditioner vents and refreshed panel for audio controls and HVAC.
 
Speaking about cosmetic changes, the new Seltos receives major changes on the front fascia including an updated front grille, a set of new headlamps with new DRLs, a large front bumper and an ‘Ice Cube’ LED fog lamp assembly. Other exterior updates include 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, a new rear bumper and L-shaped taillamps connected through an LED light bar. The GT Line trim comes with sportier red inserts on both front and rear bumpers followed by dual exhaust pipes.
