Ford EcoSport Facelift Might be Launched in India During Sept. 2017
Ford EcoSport, the compact crossover was launched in India by 2012 and later upgraded with new features. Now, it is reported that the company about to launch the 2017 facelift of the EcoSport on September 15, 2017 to grab more success in the segment during the festive season in India. The car will have the upgraded front fascia with enhanced rear looks.
The upcoming EcoSport facelift will be equipped with the 1.5L Dragon petrol engine which was rolled out in Brazil, recently. The current version of EcoSport is running on 1.0L EcoBoost petrol, 1.5L Ti-VCT petrol and 1.5L TDCi diesel engine. The car is transmitted with 5-speed manual gearbox with an optional automatic transmission systen with high-end petrol variant.
Ford India will develop the 2017 EcoSport facelift wit projector headlamps with daytime running LEDs, newly designed front bumper, fog lamps and new alloy wheels for better side view. Inside, the car will get an 8-inch infotainment touch display with SYNC 3 AppLink support, 3-spoke steering wheel mounted with feature buttons, new instrument cluster, comfortable seats and many others that will lure the heart of Indian car lovers.
There is no official words about the price of facelift EcoSport but, it is expetced that after the GST it will come under the price range of Rs. 6.0 – 10.0 Lac ex-showroom.
