Ford Figo Aspire makes its debut in Indian car market
Ford India, the Indian arm of U.S based car maker Ford Motors has launched its highly awaited sedan Figo Aspire in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 4.89 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi) followed by top end variant priced at Rs. 8.24 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). The sub-four meter sedan has been launched in petrol and diesel variants in four trims namely Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium Plus.
The petrol variant is offered with two engine options of 1.2 litre engine boosting the power of 87 bhp and torque of 112 Nm and is mated with five speed manual gear transmission system, delivering ARAI approved fuel efficient figure of 18.16 kmpl. Another petrol variant is offered with 1.5 litre petrol engine churning the power of 110 bhp and torque of 136 Nm. This engine is offered with six speed dual clutch automatic transmission system and is endorsed to deliver an average of 17 kmpl. The diesel variant is energized with 1.5 litre TDCi engine and is said to be the most powerful engine in segment that will boost the power of 99 bhp and torque of 215 Nm. It is also offered with five speed manual gear transmission system and is reported to deliver an average of 25.83 kmpl.
Ford Figo Aspire has been offered in passionate seven colors including oxford white, ruby red, tuxedo black, sparkling gold, ingot silver, deep impact blue and smoke grey. It will now compete with Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Tata Zest, Hyundai Xcent, Honda Amaze and Tata Zest.
