Ford To Launch Facelift Aspire On October 4, 2018: An Overview
US-based car maker Ford is all set to launch the generation next Aspire compact in the Indian car market on October 4, 2018. Since its inception almost three years back, Aspire had been the dream project of the car make which despite of huge endeavors could not succeed in enjoying the speculated success as enjoyed by its predecessor Figo hatchback. Therefore, learning from the experiences, this the car maker has not left any stone unturned in developing the 2018 Aspire, and to impress the car enthusiasts it has not only introduced cosmetic updates but also introduced new mechanical features in form of new engine.
Under the hood, the new Ford Aspire would be empowered with the new 1.2 litre petrol and 1.5 litre Dragon Series petrol engines boosting the power of 96 bhp and 123 bhp respectively. The variants empowered with 1.2 litre engine will be mated with five-speed manual gearbox system, while the variant with 1.5 litre will be mated with six-speed automatic torque converter transmission system. The diesel variant will be enriched with 1.5 litre turbocharged engine, that generates the power of 98.6 bhp and the torque of 215 Nm. The new petrol engines are introduced to make the new Aspire more powerful as compared to its first generation that was offered with 1.2 litre petrol engine.
Talking about the cosmetic updates offered on the exterior and interior segments. On the exterior front it will receive new honeycomb front grille with chrome surroundings, wide central airdam, new sweptback headlamps with LED DRLs, new alloy wheels, new rear bumper, and taillamps. Inside, the cabin it will receive dual tone treatment of black and beige combination followed by dashtop touchscreen display, air conditioner vents will be placed at different positions, automatic shifter lever and many more.
