Ford Launches 2018 Aspire With The Starting Price Of Rs. 5.5 Lakh
Ford India, has finally launched the highly awaited facelift version of its compact sedan Aspire with the compatible price tag of Rs. 5.5 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi), the top end variant is priced Rs. 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). The facelift Ford Aspire is offered in both the petrol and diesel variants, divided in five trims namely, Ambiente, Trend, Trend+, Titanium, and Titanium+. The bookings of the car had been already commenced by the Ford, and will start its delivery from today. After launch in the Indian car market, the Ford Aspire 2018 will contest against Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Volkswagen Ameo, upcoming facelift Tata Tigor and Honda Amaze.

Under the hood, the petrol and diesel variants of generation next Aspire, as reported earlier are offered with engine options of 1.2 litre three-cylinder petrol and 1.5 litre three-cylinder petrol engines, outsourced from the new Dragon series, followed by 1.5 litre TDCI diesel engine. All the three engines generate the power of 95 bhp, 123 bhp and 99 bhp respectively. As far as transmission duties are concerned, the petrol trims with 1.2 litre are mated with five-speed manual gearbox, the trims empowered with 1.5 litre are coated with six-speed torque converter, and 1.5 litre diesel engine with five-speed manual gearbox.

Talking about the visual changes offered in the generation next Ford Aspire, on the exterior front it receives the new honeycomb grille with the new set of headlamps, along with this the front bumper also adorns a handlebar moustache black design element equipped with central air dam, C-shaped chrome elements, and round shaped fog lamps. The side profile receives the newly developed multi-spoke alloy wheels with new styled ORVMs, whereas the rear portion receives the set of new tail lamps along with chrome garnished slat on the boot lid.

Inside, the cabin the continues with dual tone color treatment of beige and black color treatment with a new style of front passenger seats. The dashboard also undergoes the vast change in form of new infotainment system with eight-inch touchscreen display that supports connectivity to SYNC3 along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Along with this, the air conditioner receives the new air conditioner vents embellished with illuminated USB sockets, start-stop button, and auto climate control system.
