Generation 10th Of Honda Civic To Debut In March 2019

Japanese car maker Honda Motors is all set to launch the refurbished Civic sedan in the Indian car market during the month of March this year. Recently, the Indian version of the sedan was captured under the lens, while it was undergoing the test drive on the roads of Karnataka. In its new avatar, the Honda Civic will be empowered with 1.8 litre petrol engine boosting the power of 140 hp and the diesel variant with 1.6 litre engine that will generate the power of 120 hp. The transmission duties in the diesel variant will be performed by six-speed manual gear transmission system, while the petrol variant will be mated with six-speed manual gear transmission system along with an option of an automatic transmission system.

Prior to this, earlier last year, the Honda Cars India Limited, the Indian alliance of Japanese car maker had revealed the images of new Honda Civic, that launched in the U.S. car market. It is believed that in its new version, the Honda Civic will be loaded with a bunch of new features comprising on daytime running lamps, LED headlights, new tail-lights and few more on the exterior front. As far as integration of the features inside the interior are concerned, nothing has been so for spied by the spies.

The company has not yet commenced the bookings of new Civic, which will be placed to compete against Skoda Octavia, Hyundai Elantra and Toyota Corolla Altis. It is believed to be offered with the price sticker ranging from Rs. 16 lakh to Rs. 20 lakh.
