Honda Brio AT launch nearby, spied at one of the dealership
The industry is eagerly awaiting the Honda Brio Automatic launch and fueling anticipation, the car has been spotted at a dealership in Chennai, several reports confirm. Despite the petrol price rise, the Brio has become the best selling model for Honda and thinking of adding the Automatic version to it seemed feasible and in demand to the Japanese car maker. The Brio Automatic will be powered by a CVT automatic transmission and it could be the same as Honda sells in Thailand. The new small car Brio will be complete in its line up with the Automatic genie and it is believed that the car sales will improve once the automatic Brio is in. There is still no confirmation regarding the Brio AT price but it is believed that the price will be above Rs 60,000 than the manual transmission powered model.

Media reports confirm that the Brio AT has reached dealerships and it could be possible that Honda will plan a soft launch of the car with no hoopla. The AT version of Brio that was spotted at the dealerships had no camouflage or any special badging as such but a peek inside revealed the secret. Instead of the conventional gear lever there was the CVT gearbox lever that confirms that the Brio AT launch is nearby. The Brio in India is a close rival to small cars such as Hyundai Eon, Hyundai i10, Tata Indica eV2 and other small cars.

The AT version of Brio will not only step up its prospects against its rivals but it will also infuse a fresh car buying spree as well. The reason behind this proposition is that India is fast catching up as the market where the number of women driver is on the rise and the Brio has the perfect recipe to be a small car that is preferred by women. The AT version will add to the comfort and convenience of driving for women as well as it will take the hassles out of driving in the intense city traffic.
