Honda Brio EX MT launched along with Automatic variants

Today it was a good and prosperous day for Honda Motors India. The car maker rolled out the much awaited Honda Brio Automatic variants. But that was not all; this car manufacturer also added another variant called Honda Brio EX MT in its portfolio, which fills that gap between the base and S MT variant of the hatchback. The Honda Brio EX MT has been rolled out with a perfect price tag of Rs. 4.26 lakh, which is quite competitive. It might appear that the limelight was hogged by the Honda Brio AT variant, but with the EX MT variant making its path with new features and affordable price, the car sales might just go up quickly with such lucrative variants in Honda’ s portfolio. So, Honda could keep its expectations elevated and hope for the best.

The car’s engine hasn’t been touched. The same 1.2 litre of SOHCi-VTEC petrol engine churning out maximum power of 88Ps @ 6000rpm along with producing 109Nm of maximum torque @ 4500rpm. The five speed manual transmission is mated with the engine to give the same 19.4kmpl of mileage on road.

Even the basic exteriors of the new Honda Brio EX MT are kept the same but the new Silver Steel Wheels with Centre Hub Caps, body colored ORVMs, door handles and full trims wheels, are new addition in the car and absent in S MT variant of the car. The major changes that you will see here would be on the inside. The car comes with a new single DIN audio system with front speakers, which are absent in the base variant. Apart from this, the comfort features like power steering wheel, front power windows, air conditioning with heater and high quality fabric upholstery come as standard features.
