Honda Brio launch to spur Honda car sales in SA
Soon Honda Brio will be rocking the South African market. Honda will be commencing the export of this small car to South Africa from December and it is believed that the car will have more-than-in-India response there in the new land. There as well Honda will be positioning the Brio as an entry level car and following the touch of luxury in the car, it will be fetching overwhelming sales, said sources. Another important update regarding Brio is that some Honda dealerships have started receiving queries about the Brio based sedan Honda Amaze. Notably, as the Amaze will be launched in diesel as well, the people of India are highly awaiting and so is the car maker making things easier for its launch.

Car industry gurus are considering Amaze as the car that will be easing the existence of this brand in India as recently following meek sales, there were reports that Honda could pull out some of its cars from India. And then the Brio came in and changed the scenario. Now the Amaze will be playing the rest of its part and as per the reports, the new Honda car will be a compact sedan. The Amaze will then be shattering the turf of Maruti Swift Dzire and Tata Indigo eCs.

Meanwhile, the South African sprint of the Brio small car is seen as a volume affair and there it will be competing with the Toyota Etios and Ford Figo. Already these two cars have established themselves in SA but Brio entry is supposed to trespass their fortress. As far as the lineup is concerned, the Brio will be an addition to the Jazz, CRV, Accord, Ballades, CR-Z, Civic and the Honda Insight. Price wise it will be the cheapest offering by Honda and the same as India configuration will be translated to the South African market.
