Honda Brio launched at Rs 3.95 Lakhs

Hatchback Honda Brio, the most anticipated small car from the house of Honda Siel Cars India Limited is now up for the grabs. The Indian consumers of small cars have been patiently waiting, since its display in a concept form at the India Auto Expo 2010. This hatchback is the cheapest entry level car in the country from Honda.

The Japan based company earlier this year had launched the Honda Brio in Thailand and the small car is coming up with decent sales figures there. Hence, India is the subsequent market in which the company has launched the Brio. The Honda Brio range onwards at Rs 3.95 Lakhs and stretches up to Rs 5.1 Lakhs, all prices are ex-showroom New Delhi. Many speculations were made about the pricing of the hatchback, but Honda appears to have managed to get the price tag of Brio entirely correct.

Aimed at the new generation of car consumers who wish to opt for a reasonably priced car, which is modern as well. In a strategic business move for the brand, the company looks forward to target the tier two cities of the country with excellent pricing of the Brio.

The Honda Brio is powered by the reliable and proven 1.2 Liter i-VTEC petrol engine; which comes off directly from Jazz; another hatchback from Honda. For better mileage and driving experience of the car there has been some modifications done. The peppy 1.2L engine is capable to generate 88 Bhp of top power and 109 Nm of top torque.
