Hyundai all set to secure uno position among world’s top car makers

Korean car maker has added another achievement to it. It has become one of the fastest growing auto companies in the world. Auto industry experts suggest that with such exceptional offerings such as Hyundai Eon, Hyundai Santro, Hyundai i10, i20 and i30, the car maker will have no problem in the future as well to climb to the top position. Though till recently, the car maker was considered as the no hassle brand by other auto makers but with its cars, Hyundai has proved that it too has the mettle to climb up and shatter the domain of the big wigs.

In India, the brand made an entry and soon became the second largest car maker. Hyundai started with the Hyundai Santro and now it has presence in almost all the segments be it the small car segment or the top of the line SUV segment. The recent addition of Hyundai Eon has been exceptional for the car maker as it has helped it gain volumes in the country. This is the most successful model after Santro that is almost going out of production. Meanwhile, the most recent introduction of two sedans – Hyundai Sonata and Hyundai Elantra has also helped the car maker ensure that it has an offering and that too the best in the segment offering in the luxury and the premium sedan segment.   

There are some more Hyundai cars in the offing and new Hyundai i10 is one of them. The Hyundai i10 Diesel is also rumored to be round the corner and if that launches no other car maker can stop it from winning the numero uno position in India at least. But the car maker still lacks offerings in the compact SUV and MUV segment. An entry level full fledged SUV that can be priced under the Hyundai Santa Fe is also the need of the hour. Meanwhile, a small diesel car that is highly affordable and priced under Rs 3.5 lakh could wonders to the brand in India.
