Hyundai Grand i10: Features leaked before the launch
With only a day left for the launch of highly awaited Hundai Grand i10, from Hyundai Motors, speculations regarding the features adorned in new model might come to an end with various secrets being leaked by brochure published by authentic reports and sources. It is reported that petrol variant of Hyundai Grand i10 is equipped with 1.2 – liter kappa 2.4 pot engine that generates 83 PS at 6,000 rpm and 11.6 kgm torque at 4,000 rpm. Whereas the diesel variant which is an entry level variant in Indian car market is empowered with 1.1 liter U2 oil burner engine that churns the power of 71 PS and develops the torque of 16.3 kgm. As far as the prices of Grand i10 are concerned nothing has been so far revealed by Hyundai Motors, but according to industry experts company may launch Grand i10 with price tag varying between Rs. 4.5 lakh and 5.0 lakh.
According to sources Hyundai will launch Grand i10 in five variants namely, Era, Magna, Sportz, Asta and Asta (O) and depending upon the prices of these variants different features have been integrated in all of them. Among these five variants Era will be the base variant and therefore will carry the standard features. Moving ahead the exteriors of remaining four variants i.e, Magna, Sportz, Asta and Asta (O) will be customized with front fog lamps, similarly the last three variants Sportz, Asta and Asta (O) will be equipped with reverse parking sensors. Similarly in these variants will be enriched with push button start/stop and tilt steering followed by cooled glovebox. The upper variant Hyundai Grand i10 Asta (O) will also carry Dr+Pass airbags and anti breaking system. Apart from this the exteriors of Asta (O) will be decorated with diamond cut alloy wheels.
It would be interested to know that interiors of last three variants Sports, Asta and Asta (O) have been supported by advanced audio system, wherein both Asta variants have been enriched to support 1GB internal memory card. The other additional features adorned in these two variants include steering wheel mounted audio control along with driver seat height adjusting facility.
