Hyundai Launches 2017 Grand i10, Priced Rs. 4.58 lakh
Hyundai Motors India Limited, the Indian arm of Korean car maker Hyundai Motors has launched the mid-life updated version of its hatchback Grand i10 in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 4.58 lakh for the base trim of petrol variant and going high up-to Rs. 6.39 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), the price of base trim for diesel variant starts from Rs. 5.68 lakh and goes high up-to Rs. 7.32 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The refreshed Grand i10 undergoes vast cosmetic changes along with new engine option in diesel variant.
Under the hood petrol variant continues to be offered with same existing engine configuration of 1.1 litre petrol engine boosting the power of 81 bhp and torque of 114Nm and mated with option of five speed manual and four speed AT gearbox. The diesel variant receives new 1.2 litre diesel engine that is capable of generating the power of 73 bhp and torque of 190Nm and transmission duty is performed by five speed manual gear transmission system.
Talking about the cosmetic updates the front and rear portions receive new sportier bumper, chrome garnished door handles, roof rails, rear wiper, integrated spoiler and newly developed diamond cut alloy wheels. Inside cabin the 2017 Grand i10 continues to be offered with existing interior except the introduction of climate control system, touchscreen infotainment system and rear air conditioner vents. Along with all these interior features this time the Grand i10 also receives dual airbags for front passengers along with strong body material that is strictly according to NCAP requirements.
