Hyundai Grand i10 sedan to debut on February 4, 2014
As reported earlier South Korean car maker Hyundai is testing its highly anticipated Hyundai Grand i10 sedan on Indian roads with an objective of launching it soon in Indian car market. Now it is reported that company is going to launch the Grand i10 sedan on February 4, 2014. This will be second compact sedan by Korean auto giant in Indian car market after Amaze, which succeeded in receiving huge applause from Indian buyers and which inspired car maker to introduce the car designed on same platform in compact sedan segment.

The new Grand i10 sedan is designed on platform of Hyundai Grand i10 hathback launched in September this year and which received an overwhelming response from buyers in Indian car market and set new standards of other hatchback car makers in its segment. Therefore the new sedan will carry the same 1.2 lite 4 cylinder petrol engine developing the power of 82 bhp and torque of 114 Nm, whereas the diesel variant will be equipped with 1.1 litre, 4 cylinder engine churning the power of 70 bhp and torque of 160 Nm.
Moving ahead both variants will carry the similar transmission system as available in Grand i10 hatchback and like that the top end models of petrol variant will also be available with automatic transmission system. It is expected that to compete with other compact sedan cars in market Hyundai will launch Grand i10 sedan with the compatible price tag of Rs. 5 lakh and above.
