Hyundai i20 spotted testing in Chennai
Hyundai i20 one of the best selling cars of Korean car maker has been spotted testing recently on Chennai roads. Korean auto giant is working on introducing the generation next i20 in Indian car market. Prior to this, spies have succeeded in catching the test drives of Hyundai i20 best tested in Europe. According to reports received from sources the upgraded hatchback will be developed completely on new platform with tail lamps enlarged up-to boot lid of hatchback.
The generation next i20 will be offered in both petrol and diesel disguises with petrol mule be empowered with 1.2 litre Kappa 2 engine and diesel trim be energized with 1.4 litre CRDi engine. The European version of generation next Hyundai i20 will be empowered with 1.0 litre petrol engine followed by 1.1 litre three cylinder diesel engine.
The interiors will be blessed with 2-DIN music system which will support connectivity to all supportive options. The steering wheel receive all controls of audio mounted on it. The other features offered in car will be also upgraded according to expectations of generation next buyers. It is speculated that company may unveil the generation next i20 in the upcoming Paris Motor Show which will be held in October this year. After launch it will be tough contender to Maruti Suzuki Swift, Polo from Volkswagen and upcoming Bolt from Tata, Jazz from Honda and facelift Punto from Fiat.
