Hyundai i20 top model gets LED DRLs
Every car maker wishes to cash in on the ongoing festive season buying and a similar attempt has been made by Hyundai. If not a new car, the Korean car giant has added a new feature to the Hyundai i20. The top of the line model of i20 now comes with daytime running LED lights. This is part of the new fog lamp assembly that Hyundai has fitted on the new i20. But don’t think this come for free as Hyundai is charging Rs 10,000 extra for those DRLs. This is the introduction on the domestic model and the export models used to have the day time LEDs as standard. Now it seems that by this the i20 has gone a step further than its other competitors including Ford Figo, Skoda Fabia and most importantly Maruti Swift.

The addition of the LED lights has also made the car safe as well as sporty. Being the leader of the premium hatchback segment after the Swift, the i20 also promises class apart comfort and convenience. Available in two petrol (83 bhp and 99 bhp engine options) and one turbo diesel 90 bhp engine, the i20 is the second most preferred premium hatchback in India. The Hyundai i20 diesel is the most selling car among its variants and this is due to the mix of power, frugality and looks.

The launch of this LED clad model is going to offer the customers those features at such an attractive price which they will not find in even sedans priced much above it. In addition to this feature, the already existing features have always helped the car in the radar for premium hatchback car buyers. But the factor that Maruti cars indeed win the blind folded faith of car buyers, forces the car to contend with the second position.

My brother has i20 he is satisfy with it. It gives good performance..

I think Hyundai i20 looking is too good, This car has great features.

The new Hyunda i20 is loading with quality safety features.

most of the interiors and new features in i20 are similar to i30.. i30 would be the best compact car if it's introduced in India now.. with its boot space, interiors, luxury compared to that of sedans, features, brand value and price comparison it would be a real good deal for Hyundai.. I hope they launch it early.. launch date seems to be in dec 2012 but not sure.. some say it as dec 2013 too..

Does i20 Shows mileage...

The offered daytime running LED lights feature is awesome and very beneficial but it is too costly. Already Hyundai i20 price for the top-end model is around Rs. 8 lakh and after getting this new features it will be a similar of C-segment sedan. And in this condition why the customer will go for a hatchback? because at this price Honda City, Verna, Fiesta etc. splendid sedans available...
