Hyundai India Introduces New Trim E In Creta (Petrol) Variant
Hyundai Motors India Limited, the Indian alliance of Korean carmaker Hyundai has introduced a new trim “E” in the petrol portfolio, followed by the price hike in the entire range of Creta family (including both the petrol and diesel variants). The newly introduced trim “E” already is a part of Creta diesel family, but new to the petrol. As far as price hike is concerned it almost remains the same in all the trims of petrol and diesel variants, except the EX trim in the petrol variant which receives the hike of Rs. 62,000.
Speaking about the engine options the entire range of Hyundai Creta 2020 is equipped, with the new BS compliant engine options in petrol and diesel variants. The petrol engine is offered, with two engine options of a 1.5-litre and a 1.4-litre turbocharged engine. The diesel variant receives a 1.5-litre engine. The transmission duties in different trims are performed, with a variety of options to select. The petrol variant with a 1.5-litre engine is offered with a six-speed manual gearbox and an IVT transmission system, whereas the 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol with a seven-speed DCT automatic transmission system. Whereas, the diesel variant is equipped, with an option of a six-speed manual gearbox and an automatic transmission system.
