Hyundai Launches 2022 Venue With Price Tag of Rs 7.53 Lakh
Hyundai India, the Indian alliance of the Korean carmaker has launched the updated Venue compact SUV in the country with starting price of Rs 7.53 lakh (ex-showroom price). In its updated version the Hyundai Venue continues to come with the existing engine configurations in both petrol and diesel versions.

The petrol variant receives two engine options including a 1.2-litre engine generating the power of 82 BHP and the torque of 115Nm, and an option of a 998cc turbo-petrol engine boosting the power of 118 BHP and the torque of 172Nm. The diesel variant receives power from a 1.5-litre engine churning the power of 99 BHP and the torque of 240Nm. The transmission duties in these three engines are performed by a six-speed manual and a six-speed iMT, a five-speed manual, and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission system.
Powering the Venue are the same set of petrol and diesel engines. These include a 998cc turbo petrol with 118 BHP and 172 Nm, 1.2-litre petrol producing 82 BHP and 115 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel that makes 99 BHP and 240 Nm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
Speaking about the features the facelift Venue receives a new radiator grille outsourced from Palisade. The existing headlamp design undergoes minor cosmetic updates. Moving ahead the front bumper also receives subtle changes in the form of a rectangular air dam. On the rear front, the rectangular tail lamps are replaced by contemporary LED lamps followed by a light bar connecting both units of rear lamps. The rear bumper is also redesigned. The side profile receives the set of new sixteen-inch alloy wheels.
On the interior front, it receives a dual-tone colour treatment of black and beige combination. The top-end variants receive two-step reclining seats on the rear portion, an air purifier, wireless phone charger, adjustable driver seat, rear air conditioner vents and a digital instrument cluster. It also receives an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting sixty connected features along with Alexa and Google Voice Assistant. The string of safety features includes six airbags, VSM, ESC, hill-assist system and a few more.
