India to host the global auto leaders

The promising Indian market has proved very profitable for International auto giants like Hyundai and General Motors offering them high sales. Now, following the trend, companies like Toyota, Honda and Ford are also eyeing the Indian market and are planning make management visits to India.

The top executives of Toyota Kirloskar motors, Akira Okabe the senior managing director and Kaoru Hosokawa, chief engineer will be present in India during the launch of their new car, Toyota Etios Liva, which is designed specially for the Indian market.

For the launch of Honda Brio, with India being the second country after Thailand, where Honda Brio is being launched, the CEO and President of Honda Mr. Takanobu Ito or the executive vice-president Koichi Kondo may throw a visit in September, when the car is expected to launch.

Nigel Wark, executive director of marketing and sales for Ford India commented on the Indian market and said that presently, Indian market is of utter importance for the leaning auto giants all around the world and in past few years, they have shown a great interest in the Indian market.

For the launch of Ford Fiesta next month, Alan Mulally the CEO of Ford Motor Company and Joe Hinrichs the president of Asia Pacific and Africa regions might be present to remove the veil from the all new Ford Fiesta.

Also, the CEO’s from some other prominent companies like General Motors, Hyundai and Maruti Suzuki have already visited India.
